How to Be in a Music Video (No Experience Needed)

You've watched the video a hundred times. The lights, the song, the girl everyone is looking at. And somewhere in your head you thought: that could be me.

It could. Rockstarr Media casts girls for music videos, and most of the girls you see in them were never "discovered" anywhere special. Somebody just gave them a shot.

Do you need experience to be in a music video?

No. Directors look for a face the camera loves, energy, and a girl who can take direction and have fun doing it. You don't need an agency, a portfolio or acting classes.

What music video casting looks for

• A real, natural look (your everyday face is fine)
• Confidence on camera, even if you're nervous inside
• Being on time, easy to work with and ready to have fun
• 18 or older

It's not just music videos

Music is a big part of what we do. Rockstarr Media has VIP tickets and backstage passes at the biggest festivals, and we book girls for festival and concert work too: brand ambassador spots, VIP areas and on-camera festival reporting.

How to get started today

• Step 1: Take the free Screen Test. It scans your face with your phone camera and shows your Camera Score in about a minute.
• Step 2: Apply free in about 3 minutes. Pick "model" and any other roles you like.
• Step 3: Our casting team looks at every application. Not everyone is selected, but everyone gets a real look.

The girl in the video started somewhere. This is where you start.
