Why Alabama

We are looking for you

Bart Starr's Rockstarr Media is looking for girls across Alabama who have never modeled before. No agency, no portfolio and no professional photos needed. Every application is reviewed by our casting team. Not everyone is selected.

Some of the best new faces we meet are already working a shift: waitressing, tending bar, hosting, working a hotel front desk or a boutique floor. Those everyday skills, talking to strangers, staying calm when it gets busy and looking put together, are exactly what casting looks for. We especially want to hear from girls who cheered or danced in high school or college. Performing for a crowd, holding a smile through a long routine and taking coaching are exactly what casting looks for.

It is not only modeling. When you apply you can choose Model, Actress, Festival Reporter or Backstage VIP Correspondent, and girls 21 and older can audition to host our travel series JET SETTERS. Rockstarr Media is owned by Bart Starr, who has booked models, talent and events since 2001.

Apply online in about three minutes from anywhere in Alabama. We set casting dates based on who signs up in each area, so the sooner you apply, the sooner you are in front of us.

There's more out there

There's more out there. Go see it.

If you have ever wondered what it would be like to fly somewhere new for a booking, see the world and come home to Alabama with a story, apply. Bookings and travel are a chance, never a promise, but you can't get picked if you never apply.

Who we want to hear from

Already working a shift?

Girls 18 and older in Alabama who have never modeled before are exactly who this is for. We especially want to hear from servers, waitresses, bartenders, hostesses, baristas and retail workers: you already know how to talk to strangers, stay calm under pressure and look put together for a long day on your feet. Those are the things casting looks for, and most people who walk into a casting have never done any of them.

  • Birmingham

Now casting. Brick and limestone towers rise behind the rolling lawns of Railroad Park, with an old brick smokestack standing over the rail yards.

  • Montgomery

Now casting. Red-brick Victorian storefronts and a green-capped hotel tower frame the wide median of Commerce Street as it runs down toward the Alabama River.

  • Huntsville

Now casting. Downtown's white and brick towers reflect in the still lagoon of Big Spring Park, lined with crepe myrtles and big shade trees.

  • Mobile

Now casting. Gothic-spired towers rise behind the red-roofed, timber-framed walls of Fort Condé at the edge of downtown, a few blocks from the bay.

  • Tuscaloosa

Now casting. Old oaks ring the wide green Quad, with the slim brick bell tower of Denny Chimes rising above the trees.

  • Auburn

Now casting. The twin towers of Samford Hall rise from a leafy campus of red brick and green lawns, a short walk from Toomer's Corner downtown.
