EDC Orlando 2026: What to Bring, the Rules and How to Get There (First-Timer's Guide)
You got the ticket. Now comes the part nobody posts about: what you actually bring, how you get in, and how you get home. EDC Orlando 2026 runs Friday through Sunday, November 6-8, at Tinker Field in downtown Orlando, and a little planning is the difference between the best weekend of your year and a long walk to a dead phone.
Everything below was checked against the official EDC Orlando site. Rules can change before the gates open, so give the official guide one last look the day before.
The basics
- Dates: Friday, November 6 to Sunday, November 8, 2026
- Where: Tinker Field, 287 S Tampa Ave, downtown Orlando
- Hours: 1 PM to 12 AM every day
- Age: EDC Orlando is 18+. VIP areas and SkyDeck are 21+, with a valid photo ID
- Last entry: with a ticket that has not been scanned yet, you can get in until an hour before the event ends
- Re-entry: none. Once you are in, you are in for the night, so bring everything you need the first time
Set times
Set times are not out yet. Insomniac posts them in the days before the festival, on the EDC Orlando site, its social channels, its emails and the Insomniac app. Download the app now so you are not doing it in line. The headliners by day are already set: David Guetta and Afrojack on Friday, Kaskade and Steve Aoki on Saturday, Martin Garrix and Hardwell on Sunday. Our full lineup by day has every act and the ten sunset sets.
GA, GA+ or VIP?
- GA gets you in, with free water refill stations, food, drinks and bars
- GA+ adds faster entry and nicer restrooms. On a busy night, both are worth more than they sound
- VIP is 21+ and adds dedicated VIP viewing areas, a complimentary beauty bar and a kandi-making station
Single-day and three-day passes are both sold on the official ticket site.
What to bring
- Your ID, the real one. You will need it at the gate, and for anything 21+
- Your phone, fully charged, plus a small power bank. Your ticket, your set times and your ride home all live on it
- Shoes you have already broken in. You will walk and dance for eleven hours
- An empty refillable bottle if the official item list allows it. Water refill stations are free
- A light layer. Florida in November can be warm by day and cooler after the sun goes down
- Earplugs. Your ears will thank you on Monday
- A card. Credit and debit cards work, so you do not need to carry a pile of cash
Before you pack, read the official Acceptable and Prohibited Items list. It decides what makes it past the gate, and it is the one thing you cannot fix once you are in line.
Cameras
Regular cameras with fixed lenses and handheld video cameras smaller than six inches are allowed. Professional cameras are not. Your phone is fine, and it is what almost everyone films on.
Lockers
Lockers can be bought for the weekend. With no re-entry, a locker is where your layer, your charger and anything you do not want to carry all night should live.
Getting there and getting home
- Shuttle: the official Insomniac shuttle program skips the traffic and the parking
- Parking: self-parking is available. Check the Parking and Drop-Offs page before you leave
- Lyft: the official rideshare partner. Pick your meet-up spot with your friends before your phone dies, not after
- Brightline: the train is an option if you are coming from South Florida
- Hotels: Insomniac has partner rates at hotels near the venue, and Hotel EDC Orlando runs November 6-9 at Margaritaville Resort Orlando
Plan the ride home first. At midnight, thousands of people leave at once.
The night itself
- Eat a real meal before you go. Eleven hours is a long time
- Drink water all day, not just when you feel thirsty
- Set a meeting spot with your group in case phones die or signal drops
- Catch a sunset set. Ten acts get the golden hour, and in Florida in November it is the best slot of the day
