Why Tyler

We are looking for you

Tyler is the county seat of Smith County and the largest city in Northeast Texas, about 100 miles east of Dallas. It is known as the Rose Capital of America, and the Tyler Rose Garden holds more than 38,000 rose bushes. The University of Texas at Tyler has more than 11,000 students, and Tyler Junior College has more than 12,000 credit students of its own. With that many students and a busy, growing city around them, Tyler is full of friendly, camera-ready girls, and that is why casting is looking here.

Maybe you work retail at Broadway Square Mall, wait tables downtown, or study at UT Tyler or Tyler Junior College. If you are friendly and easy on camera, you already have what casting looks for.

Apply online in about three minutes. When you apply, you are on our Tyler list, and we contact applicants directly about next steps. Rockstarr Media is also hiring promotional models and brand ambassadors for paid, part-time event work around Tyler: trade shows, sports events, product sampling and grand openings.

We especially want to hear from girls who cheered or danced in high school or college. Rockstarr Media does not hire cheerleaders or dancers as such, but performing for a crowd, holding a smile through a long routine and taking coaching are exactly what casting looks for.

It is not only modeling. When you apply you can choose Model, Actress, Festival Reporter or Backstage VIP Correspondent, and girls 21 and older can audition to host our travel series JET SETTERS.

Rockstarr Media is owned by Bart Starr, who has booked models, talent and events since 2001. Every application is reviewed by our casting team. Not everyone is selected. We set Tyler casting dates based on who signs up, so the sooner you apply, the sooner you hear from us.

Close to Tyler? We want to hear from you too: Lindale, Whitehouse, Bullard, Jacksonville and Longview.

There's more out there

Tyler is a great place to start.

A lot of East Texas girls have wondered what is out there beyond the Rose City. Applying is a real chance to find out, never a promise, and it costs you nothing.
