Why Commerce

We are looking for you

Commerce is in Hunt County, on the northeastern edge of the Dallas-Fort Worth area, about 65 miles from downtown Dallas. It is home to East Texas A&M University, which was called Texas A&M University-Commerce until it was renamed in November 2024 and has more than 12,000 students. Commerce is known as the Bois d'Arc Capital of Texas, and Big Max, one of the largest bois d'arc trees in the state, stands right in town. This small college town has a big campus full of outgoing girls, and that is why casting is looking here.

Maybe you work retail in Greenville, wait tables near campus, or study at East Texas A&M University. If you are friendly and easy on camera, you already have what casting looks for.

Apply online in about three minutes. When you apply, you are on our Commerce list, and we contact applicants directly about next steps. Rockstarr Media is also hiring promotional models and brand ambassadors for paid, part-time event work around Commerce: trade shows, sports events, product sampling and grand openings.

We especially want to hear from girls who cheered or danced in high school or college. Rockstarr Media does not hire cheerleaders or dancers as such, but performing for a crowd, holding a smile through a long routine and taking coaching are exactly what casting looks for.

It is not only modeling. When you apply you can choose Model, Actress, Festival Reporter or Backstage VIP Correspondent, and girls 21 and older can audition to host our travel series JET SETTERS.

Rockstarr Media is owned by Bart Starr, who has booked models, talent and events since 2001. Every application is reviewed by our casting team. Not everyone is selected. We set Commerce casting dates based on who signs up, so the sooner you apply, the sooner you hear from us.

Close to Commerce? We want to hear from you too: Greenville, Sulphur Springs, Cooper, Wolfe City and Campbell.

Who we want to hear from

Grew up on a dance team?

Drill team, dance team, studio, pom, the competition circuit: if you spent your weekends in Commerce, Texas learning counts and performing under lights, you already move like someone the camera wants to watch. That discipline and stage presence are the hardest things to teach, and you already have them. Girls 18 and older who have never modeled before: this is where those years pay off.
