Why Prairie View

We are looking for you

Prairie View is in Waller County, about 45 to 50 miles northwest of downtown Houston. It is home to Prairie View A&M University, the second-oldest public university in Texas and the largest HBCU in the state, with more than 10,000 students. The campus sits on a hill, so everyone calls it The Hill. A big, proud student body this close to Houston is exactly where casting goes looking for new faces.

Maybe you work a register in Hempstead, wait tables in Waller or out toward Cypress, or study at Prairie View A&M. If you are friendly and easy on camera, you already have what casting looks for.

Apply online in about three minutes. When you apply, you are on our Prairie View list, and we contact applicants directly about next steps. Rockstarr Media is also hiring promotional models and brand ambassadors for paid, part-time event work around Prairie View: trade shows, sports events, product sampling and grand openings.

We especially want to hear from girls who cheered or danced in high school or college. Rockstarr Media does not hire cheerleaders or dancers as such, but performing for a crowd, holding a smile through a long routine and taking coaching are exactly what casting looks for.

It is not only modeling. When you apply you can choose Model, Actress, Festival Reporter or Backstage VIP Correspondent, and girls 21 and older can audition to host our travel series JET SETTERS.

Rockstarr Media is owned by Bart Starr, who has booked models, talent and events since 2001. Every application is reviewed by our casting team. Not everyone is selected. We set Prairie View casting dates based on who signs up, so the sooner you apply, the sooner you hear from us.

Close to Prairie View? We want to hear from you too: Hempstead, Waller, Hockley, Brookshire and Cypress.

There's more out there

From The Hill to wherever you want to go

Houston is right down the road, and the world is bigger than that. Casting can open a door to events, shoots and travel. It is a chance, never a promise, and it starts with one application.
