Why Kona & Waikoloa

We are looking for you

Bart Starr's Rockstarr Media is looking for girls in Kailua-Kona, Waikoloa and along the Kohala Coast who have never modeled before. No agency, no portfolio and no professional photos needed.

Maybe you serve on Aliʻi Drive, work a resort bar at Waikoloa Beach Resort, or welcome guests at a Kohala Coast resort. You already work in front of visitors from around the world every day, and that confidence is what casting looks for.

Students at Hawaiʻi Community College – Pālamanui in Kona are welcome to apply. We especially want to hear from girls who cheered or danced in high school or college. Performing in front of a crowd, holding a smile through a long routine and taking coaching are exactly what casting looks for.

It is not only modeling. When you apply you can choose Model, Actress, Festival Reporter or Backstage VIP Correspondent, and girls 21 and older can audition to host our travel series JET SETTERS.

West Hawaiʻi's big season: the Kona Coffee Cultural Festival from November 6 to 15, the Mitsubishi Electric Championship at Hualālai from January 21 to 23, 2027, the LPGA Nanea Cup the week of March 8 to 14, 2027, and the IRONMAN World Championship in Kona on October 9, 2027.

Every application is reviewed by our casting team. Not everyone is selected. We set Hawaiʻi casting dates based on who signs up on each island, so the sooner you apply, the sooner you are in front of us. It takes about three minutes on your phone.

Close to Kona & Waikoloa? We want to hear from you too: Kailua-Kona, Keauhou, Hōlualoa, Kealakekua, Captain Cook, Waikoloa, Kawaihae, Waimea and Mauna Lani.

There's more out there

The Big Island is big. The world is bigger.

You know every beach from Kona to Kohala. If you have ever wondered what it would be like to fly to the mainland or across the world for a booking, and come home with a story, apply. Bookings and travel are a chance, never a promise, but you can't get picked if you never apply.

Who we want to hear from

Already working a shift?

Girls 18 and older in Kona & Waikoloa, Hawaiʻi who have never modeled before are exactly who this is for. We especially want to hear from servers, waitresses, bartenders, hostesses, baristas and retail workers: you already know how to talk to strangers, stay calm under pressure and look put together for a long day on your feet. Those are the things casting looks for, and most people who walk into a casting have never done any of them.
