Event Staffing in MichiganPromo models, brand ambassadors & trade show staff
Local event staff across Michigan
Michigan's event economy still runs through the auto industry. Huntington Place on the Detroit riverfront has 623,000 square feet of contiguous exhibit space and hosts the Detroit Auto Show each January, and a 600-room JW Marriott connected to the center is scheduled to open in 2027. On the west side of the state, Grand Rapids pairs DeVos Place with Van Andel Arena and a new riverfront amphitheater, and ArtPrize fills its downtown every fall. Lansing, Ann Arbor and the college towns add game days, and summer moves north to festivals like Traverse City's National Cherry Festival.
We keep local staff across Michigan, from metro Detroit and Ann Arbor to Lansing, Grand Rapids and the lakeshore, so most bookings go to people who live within driving distance. We rarely need to fly anyone in. Rockstarr Media has staffed events since 2001, more than 5,000 across over 100 U.S. cities, and our media team can add photo and video to any activation.
Local staff in every city we work
Many staffing agencies are based in one city and fly talent to the rest. Rockstarr Media already has staff in place in every major US city and the towns just outside them, so your team is local wherever your event is. It is rare that we need to fly anyone in.

Event staffing in Michigan: questions
Which Michigan cities do you cover?
We cover metro Detroit, including Dearborn, Novi and Troy, along with Ann Arbor, Lansing, Grand Rapids, Holland, Kalamazoo, Flint and Traverse City. For events in smaller towns or up north, send us the location and we will confirm our nearest local staff.
Can you staff auto show displays in Detroit?
Yes. Vehicle displays are a core part of our work. We provide product specialists, spokesmodels and greeters for auto shows and car events, and we can train staff on your vehicle features before the show opens.
When is peak event season in Michigan?
January is busy in Detroit because of the auto show. Summer brings festivals and lakeshore events across the state, and fall adds college football and ArtPrize in Grand Rapids. Winter outdoor activations are possible but need extra planning for the cold.
Can you run one campaign in both Detroit and Grand Rapids?
Yes. We regularly staff multi-city campaigns with a local team in each market and one point of contact for the whole program. Staff in each city know their own venues, which keeps setup and arrivals simple.
Are your Michigan event staff certified to serve alcohol?
Yes. Rockstarr Media holds alcohol licensing in every state we work, including Michigan, and our models are certified and trained to serve alcohol. Staff at alcohol events are 21 or older.
