3 MIN READPublished: 11/8/2026Updated: 11/8/2026

You don't need a band. You don't need a light show. You need a guitar, a voice and songs that make people stop talking.

That's exactly what Rockstarr Media's record label is signing right now.

Who we want

Men who play acoustic guitar and sing
Women who play acoustic guitar and sing
Solo artists, 18 or older, anywhere in the U.S.

You might be who we're looking for if

You play bars, coffee shops, breweries or open mic nights
You play in a band but your solo songs are the ones people ask for
You play at church, at parties or around a fire with friends
You've never played for anyone but yourself

Covers or your own songs?

Both are welcome. Your own songs show us who you are. A great cover shows us your voice. If you have both, send both.

How to record a demo on your phone

Sit close to the phone, about an arm's length away
Find a quiet room with soft light in front of you
Tune up before you hit record
One take is fine. Real beats perfect.

How to send it

Step 1: Record one or two songs.
Step 2: Send them free on our demo page. A video file or a link to YouTube, Spotify or SoundCloud both work.
Step 3: Our team listens to every demo. Not everyone is signed, but everyone gets a real listen.

Somebody out there is playing the best song we'll hear this year to a room of twelve people. Send it to us.

Your Questions, Answered

Do record labels sign solo acoustic artists?

Yes. Rockstarr Media's record label is signing solo acoustic guitarists who sing, men and women, anywhere in the U.S.

How do I get signed as a singer-songwriter?

Record one or two songs on your phone with just your guitar and voice, then send them to a label that listens to new artists. Rockstarr Media listens to every demo sent at rockstarrmedia.com/submit.

Can I send covers, or only original songs?

Both. Original songs show who you are as an artist and covers show off your voice. Send both if you have them.

I only play in bars and coffee shops. Is that enough?

Yes. Many signed artists started in bars, coffee shops and open mics. What matters is your voice and your songs, not where you play.

Does it cost anything?

No. Sending a demo to Rockstarr Media is always free.
