Rockstarr Media Helps Raise $150,000 for San Antonio's Homeless Veterans

Rockstarr Media was the major donor behind Golfing For Our Veterans, the San Antonio charity golf tournament where 85 golfers raised $150,000 for local homeless veterans at Cedar Creek Golf Course on October 8, 2026.

On Thursday, October 8, 2026, 85 golfers teed off at Cedar Creek Golf Course in San Antonio for Golfing For Our Veterans, the charity golf tournament hosted by Rick Martinez. By the end of the day they had raised $150,000 for local homeless veterans. Rockstarr Media was proud to be the tournament's major donor. The cause is close to home. On a single night in America, 32,495 veterans have nowhere to sleep, according to the federal Point-in-Time count, and 1,837 of them are in Texas. The money raised at Cedar Creek goes to the ones right here in San Antonio: men and women who served this country and are now without a home. The day itself was everything a charity tournament should be. Check-in at 7:00 AM, a shotgun start at 8:30, 18 holes in the Hill Country on the northwest side of the city, played as a four-person scramble, with contests, raffles, breakfast and lunch along the way. Everybody had a great time, and every swing counted for something bigger than a scorecard. Thank you to Propelledit for sponsoring, to the team at Cedar Creek, and to every golfer and volunteer who helped make the day a success. "Every man and woman we are playing for raised their right hand and wrote this country a blank check," Rick Martinez said. "Some of them are sleeping in their cars tonight, a few miles from this golf course. That is not a statistic to me. That is a neighbor." The golf is over, but the need is not. Donations are still open at charitygolfsa.org, and every dollar goes to local homeless veterans in San Antonio. If you can give, please give today.
