Cher, JENNIE and Grace Jones Bring Back Moncler's Most Famous Jackets

Moncler pulled four of its most famous jackets out of the archive, refreshed them, and gave them to three women who never followed anyone's rules: Cher, JENNIE and Grace Jones. The Re/Icons campaign was announced on Oct. 15, 2026.
The four jackets
- Karakorum: first made for the Italian climbers Achille Compagnoni and Lino Lacedelli. Now in cherry red, black, purple and green
- Himalaya: created to outfit the climber Lionel Terray for his first ascent of Makalu in 1955. Now with a cinched waist and an updated logo
- Verone: the down jacket made famous by Italy's Paninari style
- Tibb: a Moncler classic
Who wears what
- Cher: the Himalaya in white and the Verone in black and yellow, a nod to the Bob Mackie scarf dress from The Cher Show
- JENNIE: the Karakorum in black and the Tibb gilet in caramel
- Grace Jones: the Karakorum in deep purple

- The idea: the imagined diary of a 1950s mountain explorer, told in black-and-white images
- The theme: pioneers, the ones who go first so others can follow

- Going out: a cropped puffer over a fitted top and jeans
- Color: one bold jacket, everything else black
