Now Casting in Los Angeles: Rockstarr Media Wants New Faces for Modeling, Events and On Camera Work
Rockstarr Media is casting new faces in Los Angeles: models, promotional models, festival reporters and on camera hosts. Girls 18+, no experience or agency needed, free to apply in 3 minutes.
Everybody in Los Angeles knows somebody who is waiting to be discovered. The girl who works the host stand on Melrose. The barista in Silver Lake everyone tips double. The one at the gym in Santa Monica who gets asked "are you a model?" twice a week. Here is the truth about being discovered in this city: it does not happen while you wait. It happens when you apply.
Rockstarr Media is casting new faces across Los Angeles right now, and you do not need an agency, a portfolio or a single dollar to get in front of us.
What we are casting for. Rockstarr Media is a modeling agency, an event staffing company and a music and media brand, so one application puts you in front of several kinds of work. Model, New Faces, for shoots, campaigns and brand work. Promotional and event modeling at trade shows, car shows, festivals and brand activations. Festival Reporter and Backstage VIP Correspondent for on camera music coverage. And JET SETTERS, our original series, is always looking for hosts who can carry a camera.
Why LA is a different kind of market. Los Angeles has more on camera work than almost anywhere in the country, and it pays like it. Government numbers back that up: in May 2025 the median wage for models in the Los Angeles, Long Beach and Anaheim area was $52.80 an hour, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, against $23.30 nationally. For demonstrators and product promoters, the category that covers a lot of event and promo work, the LA median was $28.86 an hour. Medians are not promises, and nobody should tell you otherwise, but the work is real and it is here.
The event calendar is your audition tape. Big LA events need local faces. The LA Auto Show runs November 20 to 29, 2026 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, ten days of manufacturer displays where car show models and product specialists are the first people a buyer talks to. Shows like that are where new talent gets seen, gets reps and gets rebooked.
Who we want to hear from. Girls 18 and older who live in or near Los Angeles: Hollywood, West Hollywood, Santa Monica, Venice, Culver City, Downtown, Silver Lake, Echo Park, Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena, the San Fernando Valley, Long Beach, the South Bay and Orange County. Servers, bartenders, retail associates, dancers, fitness instructors, students, actors between bookings and anyone who is good with people. No experience, no agency and no portfolio needed.
What to send. Clear, recent photos, not glamour shots. A straight on headshot and a full length shot, taken in daylight against a plain wall, with no filters and very little makeup. In the industry these are called digitals, and they are what every serious casting starts with. Our free Modeling Academy shows you exactly how to take them on your phone.
How to apply. Start on our casting page and choose Model, New Faces, in the role menu, or pick the on camera role that fits you. It takes about three minutes. You can also see what we are casting in the city on our Los Angeles casting page. We are building our Los Angeles group now and set casting dates based on who signs up, and applicants hear from us directly.
Know your rights in California. California bans advance fee talent representation, which means anyone who charges you up front to represent you, or for the promise of auditions, work or an agent, is breaking state law (California Labor Code, section 1702). Paid talent services that are allowed, like classes and coaching, are separate from representation and must post a $50,000 bond with the Labor Commissioner, give you a written contract that says in bold it is not a talent agency contract, and let you cancel for a full refund within 10 business days. If someone skips any of that, walk away.
What it costs you to apply: nothing. Applying is free. Rockstarr Media never asks talent to pay to be considered. If anyone claiming to represent us asks you for money to be cast, it is not us.
