Halloween lands on a Saturday this year, which means Friday 30 and Saturday 31 October become one long weekend of costumes and bass across the country. Here is every big EDM festival and show of the weekend, confirmed on the organizers' own sites, with the details that matter before you buy. Escape Psycho Circus, San Bernardino. The festival runs 4PM to 2AM, with an official afterparty from 2AM to 6AM. Set times and the map are posted in the days before the festival. Bring a real, physical ID: Escape does not accept digital or school IDs, and you must be 18 to enter. Plan your costume around the rules: no costumes that look like police, fire, security or medical uniforms, and no full-face makeup that makes you unrecognisable next to your ID photo. Bags must be clear (up to 12 by 6 by 12 inches), small clutches or empty hydration packs. There is no re-entry at Escape, BOO or Freaky Deaky, so once you leave, you are done for the night.
