Orlando details we plan for
A campus, not a building
The OCCC's West and North-South Buildings total 7 million square feet, with 1.1 million square feet of exhibit space in the West Building alone. Marked crosswalks and pedestrian bridges connect it to nearby hotels. With IAAPA Expo using both buildings in 2026, we confirm which building, hall and entrance each staffer reports to, and set a meeting point before doors open.
Getting to International Drive
The OCCC sits near State Road 528 (the Beachline) and I-4, and I-RIDE Trolley stops are on International Drive in front of both buildings. LYNX buses connect it to Orlando International Airport and downtown. Parking is cashless and first-come, first-served across the West lot, the North-South lot and the Destination Parkway Garage. We plan arrivals around show-day traffic.
Hurricane season and summer heat
The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30, and NOAA notes most activity falls between mid-August and mid-October. Fall shows and outdoor events should have a weather plan. Summer outdoor activations also mean heat and humidity, so we build in shade, water and rotating breaks, and keep backup staff nearby.

The OCCC publishes Exhibitor/EAC Conditions, Fire Marshal Regulations, a Balloon Form and a Cooking & Open Flame Form, and Sodexo Live handles food and beverage service. If your booth involves cooking demos, sampling or balloons, file those forms early. Our staff run the demo and the conversation once the venue signs off.
