BottleRock Napa Valley puts more than 75 bands on five stages at the Napa Valley Expo in downtown Napa over Memorial Day weekend. Auction Napa Valley, presented by the Napa Valley Vintners, follows in early June, and the Napa Lighted Art Festival brings light installations to downtown from mid-January to mid-February. Visit Napa Valley counts more than 5,000 hotel rooms, about 500,000 square feet of meeting space and over 400 wineries across Napa, Yountville, St. Helena, Calistoga and American Canyon.

Memorial Day weekend fills the valley
BottleRock runs over Memorial Day weekend at the Napa Valley Expo on Third Street, a few blocks from downtown, and 2027 dates are May 28–30. Hotels and traffic tighten across the valley, so local staff who drive in from nearby towns are a practical advantage, and early call times help everyone beat the festival crowd.
Winery events are spread out
Napa Valley's five main towns run from American Canyon in the south to Calistoga in the north. For a series of winery or hotel events in one day, allow real drive time between stops, confirm parking and check-in at each property, and expect staff to arrive early since timing matters more than distance.
Groups arrive from four airports
Visit Napa Valley points to four major airports within reach: San Francisco, Oakland, Sacramento and San Jose. For incentive trips and corporate retreats, greeters and hosts can run hotel welcome desks, manage arrival check-in and guide guests to transport while the group comes in from different airports.
Winter is not quiet downtown
The Napa Lighted Art Festival runs from January 16 to February 14 in 2027, and downtown also hosts a Día de los Muertos celebration in November and a long-running Christmas Parade in December. These bring evening foot traffic that suits retail events, pop-ups and sampling during months many visitors assume are slow.
