Race weekend changes downtown
The Grand Prix runs on downtown streets around the convention center, so for that April weekend access, parking and walking routes all change. For sponsor displays, hospitality suites or the lifestyle expo, plan early call times and confirm credentials and check-in points with the organizer, and we will route staff to arrive before closures take effect.
No parking at the amphitheater
The F&M Bank Amphitheater on Queens Highway has no on-site parking; guests use official downtown parking and a shuttle. For a concert activation, schedule staff call times around the shuttle, allow extra time to carry in materials, and keep your setup compact enough to move without a vehicle at the gate.
Marathon weekend in October
The Long Beach Marathon draws more than 28,000 runners on a course past the Queen Mary and Shoreline Village, and its 5K runs through the Aquarium of the Pacific. Roads close along the waterfront, which suits finish-line sampling and expo booths but makes any other downtown event that weekend harder to reach.
Different streets, different crowds
Long Beach neighborhoods have distinct audiences. Belmont Shore's Second Street is busy with shoppers and diners, Retro Row on Fourth Street leans vintage and independent, and Bixby Knolls has its own local business scene. We plan street-team routes around the audience you want rather than sending staff to the busiest corner.
