Plan for Valley heat
The Fresno area averages more than 300 days of sunshine a year, and summer afternoons are hot. For outdoor sampling, street teams and parking-lot events, build in shade, water and staggered breaks, and schedule the busiest stretch of the activation for the morning or evening when crowds are more comfortable.
October belongs to the fair
The Big Fresno Fair, run by the 21st District Agricultural Association, brings concerts, carnival rides, livestock shows and a car show to the fairgrounds each October. Exhibitor and sponsor booths need staff for long days over consecutive weeks, so plan rotating teams rather than asking the same people to cover every shift.
New management downtown
VenuWorks and ATG Entertainment took over management of the Fresno Convention & Entertainment Center starting January 1, 2026. If you last exhibited there before that, check current load-in, exhibitor and vendor rules with the venue early, and we will brief your staff to match whatever the new procedures require.
Fresno and Clovis work as one market
Clovis borders Fresno to the northeast, and many of our staff live between the two. That makes it simple to pair a weekend at the Clovis Rodeo, held the last full weekend in April, with store openings or sampling at River Park, Fig Garden or Old Town Clovis using the same team.
