Two ballparks, two crews
JetBlue Park (Red Sox) and Hammond Stadium (Twins) both host games nearly every day from late February through March, and they are separate complexes on different sides of south Fort Myers. If you are sampling at both in the same week, book a crew for each rather than moving one team between ballparks during gate windows.
Working with the downtown convention center
The Caloosa Sound Convention Center at 1375 Monroe Street is directly adjacent to Luminary Hotel and run entirely by the hotel's event team, with a ballroom that sets for 150 to 3,000. Coordinate load-in and staff entrances with that team, and use the River District's walkable blocks for pre-show street teams.
Edison Festival parade nights
The Edison Festival of Light holds its Junior Parade on February 14, 2027 and the evening Grand Parade on February 20, 2027, with activity centered around the Beach Street area of Fort Myers. Expect closures near the route; set staff check-in well before step-off and plan product resupply on foot.
Allow extra time for the islands
Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel and Captiva are reached by a handful of bridges, and in-season traffic is heavy. For island events, such as the American Sand Sculpting Championship on Fort Myers Beach each November, we set earlier call times and assign staff who live closest to the causeways.
