Columbus runs a full calendar. The Greater Columbus Convention Center stretches along North High Street between downtown and the Short North, with the Hilton Columbus Downtown, the Hyatt Regency and the Drury nearby. Nationwide Arena anchors the Arena District, and the Crew play at ScottsMiracle-Gro Field, the former Lower.com Field, in Astor Park. In the fall, Ohio Stadium fills for Ohio State football. In July, Red, White & BOOM! draws more than 400,000 people downtown, and the Ohio State Fair runs at the Ohio Expo Center & State Fairgrounds into August.
Our Columbus staff live across Franklin County and nearby towns, from Dublin and Westerville to Grove City and New Albany, so most bookings are filled with a short commute. Rockstarr Media has staffed events since 2001, more than 5,000 events in over 100 U.S. cities, and we are rarely limited by local headcount. Every booking is quoted, and our media team can add photo and video coverage.

Columbus details we plan for
The Crew's stadium has a new name
The Crew's 20,808-seat stadium is now ScottsMiracle-Gro Field, after a naming partnership announced in November 2025. It sits in Astor Park, west of the Arena District, not inside it. Use the current name on signs and staff instructions so fans aren't confused.
Football Saturdays affect everything
Ohio State home games fill Ohio Stadium and the campus area, and the effect reaches hotels and traffic citywide. A convention or retail activation on a game weekend should allow extra travel time, and game-day activations near campus need staff in place hours before kickoff.
Summer fills the fairgrounds
The Ohio State Fair runs from late July into August at the Ohio Expo Center & State Fairgrounds on East 17th Avenue, and the grounds host shows throughout the year. The site is under a long-term Expo 2050 redevelopment plan, so confirm building names and gates with organizers before your event.
Convention center hotels and the Short North
The Greater Columbus Convention Center is at 400 North High Street, with downtown hotels nearby and the Short North's galleries and restaurants just north. Evening street teams along High Street can reach convention attendees at dinner after the show floor closes.

Promotional models in Columbus: questions
Can you staff booths at the Greater Columbus Convention Center?
Yes. We provide booth hosts, product demonstrators and lead-capture staff for shows on High Street, including multi-day events. Our local team knows the building, the nearby hotels and the parking, which keeps early setup days on schedule.
Do you staff Ohio State game-day activations?
We do. We staff sponsor and retail activations around campus and Ohio Stadium on football Saturdays. Game days take careful timing and transportation planning, so tell us early and we will build the schedule around kickoff.
Can you staff the Ohio State Fair?
Yes. Twelve days is a long run, so we usually staff the fair with rotating shifts that keep your booth or sampling area fully covered without wearing anyone out. Share your space, hours and goals, and we will quote the right team.
Do you cover Dublin, Westerville and the suburbs?
Yes. Our Columbus roster lives across the metro, including Dublin, Westerville, Worthington, Grove City and New Albany. Suburban retail sampling, corporate events and grand openings are staffed by people who live close by.
Are your Columbus promotional models certified to serve alcohol?
Yes. Rockstarr Media holds alcohol licensing in every state we work, and our models are certified and trained to serve alcohol, so beverage sampling and bar promotions in Columbus are covered. Staff at alcohol events are 21 or older.
How experienced is Rockstarr Media at event staffing?
Rockstarr Media has been staffing events since 2001: more than 5,000 events in 100+ cities across the US, with hundreds of staff available and local teams in Columbus and the towns around it.
