The city sits at about 6,035 feet, and visitors from lower elevations tire and dehydrate faster than they expect. The sun is also stronger. We plan water, shade and regular breaks for outdoor shifts, and suggest brands offer the same comforts to guests at their activation.
Afternoon storms are routine in summer
Summer afternoons along the Front Range often bring thunderstorms, sometimes with hail. Morning activations, weighted tents and a covered fallback for product and electronics are good practice for festivals at Memorial Park, the Norris Penrose Event Center and other open-air sites.
Arena and theater venues are linked
Broadmoor World Arena on Venetucci Boulevard and the Pikes Peak Center on South Cascade Avenue downtown are affiliated venues, along with the World Arena Ice Hall. If your tour or show plays more than one of them, we can keep the same staff lead across dates for consistency.
The north end has its own crowd
The Ford Amphitheater at 95 Spectrum Loop has made the city's north end a concert destination. It is a fair drive from downtown and south-side venues, so wherever we can, we assign staff who live nearby, around Briargate, Northgate and Monument.
