Hire promo models who know Charlotte
Few cities pair a convention hub with a racing culture the way Charlotte does. The Charlotte Convention Center on South College Street sits in Uptown on the LYNX Blue Line, next door to the NASCAR Hall of Fame, and hosts the Charlotte Auto Show each November. Spectrum Center and Bank of America Stadium fill Uptown with Hornets, Panthers and Charlotte FC crowds, and Truist Field adds Knights baseball. Northeast of the city, Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord runs the Coca-Cola 600 on Memorial Day weekend, the Bank of America 400 in October and AutoFair every April.
Rockstarr Media has staffed events since 2001, more than 5,000 of them in over 100 U.S. cities. Our Charlotte staff live in the city and across the metro, from Concord and Huntersville to Matthews, Gastonia and Rock Hill, so we rarely need to fly anyone in. They are trained to serve alcohol for beverage sampling and bar promotions. Our media team can also capture photo and video of your display or hospitality space.

Charlotte details we plan for
Race weekends shift everything to Concord
Charlotte Motor Speedway is in Concord, northeast of the city, and its biggest weekends, the Coca-Cola 600 in late May and the Bank of America 400 in October, draw large crowds and heavy traffic around the track. Plan early call times and confirm staff parking and credentials with your sponsor or hospitality contact well before race day.
Uptown works best by light rail
The Charlotte Convention Center connects to the LYNX Blue Line, which runs through Uptown and links it with South End and University City. On a convention day or a Panthers home game, putting staff on the train avoids garage lines and gets them to the booth on time.
Two states, one metro
Fort Mill and Rock Hill are in South Carolina, and many Charlotte-area tours and retail activations cross the state line. Permit, alcohol and event rules differ between North Carolina and South Carolina, so confirm the local requirements for each stop on a multi-day route rather than assuming one set of rules covers the trip.
Heat, humidity and pop-up storms
Charlotte summers are hot and humid, and afternoon thunderstorms are common. Outdoor activations from June through September need tents, water and a weather plan with a clear decision-maker. Storms can move schedules at the Speedway too, as in October 2026, when one race was pushed back a day because of forecast weather.

- May (Memorial Day weekend)Coca-Cola 600

- OctoberBank of America 400
A fall NASCAR Cup Series weekend at the Speedway with another round of fan-zone and hospitality activations.
- NovemberThe Charlotte Auto Show
Four days at the Charlotte Convention Center with dozens of vehicles and brands, where automakers need product specialists.
Event names link to the organizers' sites. Rockstarr Media is not affiliated with these events.

Promotional models in Charlotte: questions
Do you provide promotional models for race weekends at Charlotte Motor Speedway?
Yes. We staff sponsor displays, fan-zone activations, sampling and hospitality areas for brands with approved space at race events. Credentials and placement come from the track or your sponsorship, and our staff work within those rules.
Can you staff trade shows at the Charlotte Convention Center?
Yes. Our Charlotte team works booths at the convention center for industry conferences and consumer shows, including greeting, demos, lead capture and sampling. Send the show name, booth size and goals, and we will quote the staffing.
Do you cover Concord, Lake Norman and South Carolina?
Yes. Our staff live across the metro, so we cover Concord, Huntersville, Cornelius and Mooresville around Lake Norman, Matthews and Gastonia, and Fort Mill and Rock Hill across the state line in South Carolina.
How much does it cost to book event staff in Charlotte?
Every booking is quoted, because cost depends on headcount, hours, dates, the type of staff and extras like photo or video coverage. Race weekends and multi-day shows are quoted the same way. Send us the details and we will put together a quote.
Are your Charlotte promotional models certified to serve alcohol?
Yes. Rockstarr Media holds alcohol licensing in every state we work, and our models are certified and trained to serve alcohol, so beverage sampling and bar promotions in Charlotte are covered. Staff at alcohol events are 21 or older.
How experienced is Rockstarr Media at event staffing?
Rockstarr Media has been staffing events since 2001: more than 5,000 events in 100+ cities across the US, with hundreds of staff available and local teams in Charlotte and the towns around it.
