Atlantic City's event year has two halves. In the colder months the Atlantic City Convention Center, at the base of the Atlantic City Expressway, carries the load, with The Pool & Spa Show in late January and the Discover Boating Atlantic City Boat Show in late February. On the Boardwalk, Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall stages concerts, ice shows and competitions. Summer brings beach crowds, the Soar & Shore Airshow and the ShopRite LPGA Classic at Seaview in Galloway. All year, casino resorts from Borgata and the Marina District to Hard Rock and Ocean on the Boardwalk host launches and private events.

Convention Center or Boardwalk Hall?
The Atlantic City Convention Center is at 1 Convention Blvd. at the base of the Expressway, with a connected Sheraton. Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall is a separate historic building at 2301 Boardwalk. Confirm which building, entrance and load-in door each staff member reports to, and leave time in the schedule if staff need to move between the two buildings.
Winter is trade show season
January and February bring heavy trade and consumer traffic, from The Pool & Spa Show (January 26–28, 2027) to the boat show (February 24–28, 2027), which stays open until 8 p.m. most days. Days that long call for two shifts or a relief rotation rather than one tired team on its feet for twelve hours.
Summer on the Boardwalk
Visit Atlantic City's calendar fills from June through September with events like the Soar & Shore Airshow, the CRDA Atlantic City Triathlon in August and Atlantic City Jazz Fest in September. Boardwalk and beach activations deal with sun, wind and sand, so we plan for shade, weighted signage and frequent breaks.
Working inside casino resorts
Borgata, Hard Rock, Ocean, Tropicana, Caesars, Harrah's, Resorts and Golden Nugget all host their own concerts, conferences and promotions. Resort events usually come with property-specific credentialing, check-in procedures and dress standards, and we build those into staff briefings well before the first shift.
